The purpose of this cleanser is to simplify your skincare. This powerful formulation can replace your makeup removal wipes and toners. It removes all makeup and dirt in one wash while leaving the skin feeling hydrated and silky - not dry and tight.

Development took over 18 months - sourcing the right botanical actives, antioxidants, and vitamins to nourish the skin in addition to the basic functionality of cleansing.

Actives like Matricaria Flower Extract, Squalane, Aloe, Inulin, and more help restore your skin's beneficial microbial flora and control sebum.

Antioxidants like Vitamin C, Linoleic Acid, Niacinamide, and Salvia Officinalis Oil protect the cell membrane and help preserve collagen levels.

Geranium and Bergamot natural flower oils relieve stress, sooth the skin, and carry subtle warm floral notes.

Our bottle design is meant to serve as a gentle visual reminder to slow down, breathe, and mindfully engage in the simple retreat of skincare.

Lastly, we offer compostable refills - a first-of-its-kind tech in North America - for these refillable glass containers. You can toss it in your home or community compost and it will decompose within 32 weeks. This circular model is a real step forward in terms of sustainable design and something we aim to extend to all of our products.

Staple in my routine!

I am a 30yo F with combination skin. Oily in the T zone with tendency toward dryness, red and raw sensitive irritation on the cheek areas right beside my nose.

I've waited a while to write this review to see, over time, how I would feel about this product.

Things that I love about it:
1. thorough cleansing job without stripping - this in particular is a must for me in a face wash as I've had so many bad experiences with products in the past that were either or - great at cleansing but stripping and irritating or lackluster at cleansing but tolerable on my skin. This is the perfect balance of both! it's not too powerful for my raw and sensitive skin areas and not too gentle on the areas that need good cleansing. helps to minimize excess oil production in my t-zone! super important to me and the application of other products after cleansing.

2. scent is light and not overpowering. barely scented at all. light and slightly citrusy but not medicinal or harsh.

3. the cleansing meshes well with all other products that I use. doesn't leave my skin stripped or raw or rough for the application of all the other staples in my routine. I have even noticed a brighter, more even complexion.

4. amount of product lasts long. a little goes a long way! love this texture and feel of the product. love love love the creamy lather. washing my face (most times) twice a day, this product lasts me 3-3 1/2 months.

5. convenience on refill. love being able to get just a refill and in environmentally conscious packaging. I usually order when I'm 2/3 of the way finished with my product and it typically comes quite swiftly which i love. i've never run out completely without a refill.

Overall, I love this product. it's quickly become a staple and I see it staying a staple for a long time. I feel strongly enough about the product to recommend it to other friends with similar complaints as me. The one draw back for me is, admittedly, price. I do think it can be quite expensive to spend $33 on a face wash, especially when its not the only product in my routine. However, with everything I do get from the product this hasn't become a hinderance for me yet.

To me, definitely worth the buy.
